Work times on this page are for warehouses or warehouse modules in which pallets are stored on racks an picked by case or item directly from the pallet. Table 1 shows times and components for a warehouse or module
of 2000 pallets. For larger or smaller warehouses, table 2 extends the total time found in table 1.
Time values come from the Warehouse Modernization & Layout Planning Guide, NS529. They were derived using a pre-determined time system (probably MTM). They are reasonably accurate for the purposes specified.
